I always thought love was shaped like a heart,
But its actually shaped like a cross!

And although, you are right, they look a bit like friends, you can still feel the love between them, especially since in the actual game, they are among the youngest characters (I think only Ross and Ewan are younger), so it looks like a younger kind of love, as if it had flourished since childhood
And I totally agree with ~meowsap, the paper cutout effect is awesome
